FAQ
Do you accept insurance?
Yes. We accept all commercial insurance plans and are currently in-network with Cigna, United and Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield. We are also participating with NJ FamilyCare. Coverage & benefits may differ by plan in terms of coverage, but an autism diagnosis is required by all prior to receiving services.
Do you have a center?
Yes. We have a center located in Livingston and Pine Brook, NJ, that serves children ages 18 months to 8 years of age.
How do we get started with ABA services?
The first step to receiving services is to contact our office or to complete an intake form. Please click the following link to submit the form: Get Started
What is the process for beginning ABA services?
Once an intake form is submitted, a member of our clinical team will reach out after reviewing the intake form and associated documents (i.e., insurance information, diagnostic report, and IEP).. The team member will explain the intake process, EPC’s minimum requirements and answer any questions the family might have. Following the initial contact, EPC will determine if we are a good fit for your family based on the information gathered during initial contact. If we determine we are able to help and we have an opening, insurance benefits will be checked to ensure ABA is a covered service and a detailed outline will be provided with the out-of-pocket responsibility. If you are comfortable with that cost, a BCBA will be assigned to the case and an assessment will be scheduled. Following completion of the assessment, a team will be introduced, consisting of a supervising BCBA and Behavior Technician(s). Once the therapy team is in place, a start date is confirmed with the family, onboarding paperwork is completed, and the authorization to provide services is submitted to the insurance company (if required).
Do you have an age limit?
We primarily work with individuals under the age of 10, unless they have been a long-term client of ours and enrolled since an earlier age.
